Kenn's DESKTOP Preset Pack
I am so excited about my new DESKTOP preset pack!!! These presets are the presets I use to edit it all my pictures! In order to successfully use these presets, you should have a basic understanding of Lightroom and it's settings. (You will just need to tweak these presets based on skin color, hair color, location, etc... but very minimal editing should be needed!) Can't wait to see what you create with #itskennspresets!
This is a Lightroom DESKTOP preset so the file comes in .XMP & .LRTEMPLATE.
💻Installation on Desktop (April 2018 Update) 💻
1. Once downloaded, Unzip the files & find the folder titled "CV Presets" & open the folder, which contains the presets.
2. Determine which kind of files you need depending on what software you have:
🔸The .XMP files are to be imported into Lightroom 6, Lightroom CC & above on desktop.
🔸The .LRTEMPLATE files are to be imported into Lightroom 4 or 5 on desktop.
🔸The DNG files are to be imported into Lightroom Mobile on your phone.
✔️Hint: if you're not sure which format to go with to import on Desktop, try XMP first & if it doesn't work, try importing .lrtemplate next. .XMP only works on the latest versions of Lightroom (6 & CC) and .LRTEMPLATE is the old preset format Adobe is trying to eliminate, but Adobe will automatically convert .LRTEMPLATE to .XMP if the presets are imported into the latest version of Lightroom. Otherwise if you have an older version of Lightroom (4 or 5), use the .LRTEMPLATE files.
3. Then open up Lightroom and go to "File" and then "Import Profiles & Presets". Select all the presets from the folder with the .xmp or .lrtemplate files that you just opened.
4. The presets will appear under your Develop Tab along with any other presets you have previously installed under the tab "User Presets". If you do not see the presets, exit out of your Lightroom and re-open it.
